Proving oneself able to up with my (sometimes) dim witted shenanigans is not for the weary. Court has proven worthy of the challenge lol. After our first date, I remember Court dodging my first kiss as if she were dodging bullets in the Matrix. I knew I was going to have to up my game. But...twas not the case. The next time we met was already putting her patience to the test. After eating sushi on our second date we decided to go to the movies. Still not knowing each other, we decided to drive ourselves. It was all too soon Court learned how geographically challenged I really am. By the time Court made it to the theater, I had texted her saying I was going to be late because I think someone had stolen my car. After speaking with security it was determined I was in the wrong parking lot which caused me to show up way late for the movie. Luckily, I had set expectations low enough to where it was only uphill from there! I've grown in so many ways with Court in my life. I love our travels and her sense of humor and adventure. We can drink beer at Oktoberfest or drink a glass of wine while watching the bunnies eat in the yard. We can ride elephants in Thailand or we can take Finnegan for a walk on the beach. We can snuggle up to a movie at home or we can sync up to our favorite Netlfix shows while I'm away. I quickly realized no matter how grand or quaint the adventure, the only thing I ever needed was having Court in my life. Here's to beginning one more grand adventure!

A wise friend once told me that the secret is to find someone with whom you could enjoy spending your time even if all you had to entertain you was a straw wrapper. I have not yet literally tested this theory, but if I did, I'm sure Chris would pass with flying colors. Chris is, has been and hopefully always will be, all in on every one of my ideas, no matter how...let's say... unconventional. Swim with sharks? Absolutely! 500 mile road trip with two pre-teen boys? Delighted to! Redo our hardwood floors with no prior experience? Go for it! Travel halfway around the world to play with tigers? Book the tickets! Build our retirement house before we've set a wedding date? Why not! Get a dog the size of a grown man? What are we waiting for! Aerial yoga overlooking a volcano? Yes please! Switch to teaching art instead of math after 24 years? Do it! Mystery dinner in the dark in a third world nation? It'd be stupid not to! Chris is endlessly supportive and encouraging. He makes me feel like there's nothing we cannot do if it's done together. He's brought fun (and really bad jokes) to our lives and to those of everyone he meets. For these and a thousand other reasons (many of which should not be posted on the internet), I cannot wait to see what the rest of our life together brings. Prost, sante & salut!

I never could have asked for a better childhood growing up. Joannie played such a huge part in that. No matter the circumstance, she is always selfless when it comes to her family. Having a great sense of humor and down to earth advice when needed, she's always someone I can look to for anything. Favorite memory: Trips back and forth to the gym and competitions all those years. Ask me about: Fireball, raising weird ass kids and emergency room visits.

John is outgoing and funny. He kept me laughing throughout my teenage years, which was no small feat. He also can, and will, talk to anyone for hours- Jehovah's witnesses, those bathroom remodeling guys at the mall... Favorite memory: Chocolate lollipops, staying up late to watch SNL and during a driving lesson when he covered my eyes and asked," Can you see when I do this?". (It was in an empty parking lot, but still!) Ask me about: My favorite kid, workin' on the railroad and how many miles on my truck.

Big Jack has always been someone who I've wanted to model myself after. No matter what transpires, he always arrives at the right answers with an understated sense of confidence. He's always managed to command the respect of everyone - most notably by his actions and demeanor. Favorite memory: As youngsters, Dad would come home from working double shifts. He'd always find the time to wake us up and go swimming at 1:00am. At 6,7 and 8 years old, there were no cooler kids in Boyertown during the hot summer months. Star is smart, thoughtful and funny. She can also can whip up anything from scratch. Do you have a craving for dandelion or basil jelly? She's your girl. Have a kitten or 3, that need a home? Ditto. Want the best little sister ever? Too bad, she's mine. Favorite memory: Star mixing all the Mr. Yuck (read: poisonous) chemicals we had in the house in a jar and hiding it in her closet while our babysitter slept. Thinking our central PA French actually made sense to the Quebecois on the OCMD night bus. Ask me about: Semi-retirement and how jealous my sister is of it

Matt has a rare ability to carry so many admirable traits. On top of being mentally and physically the toughest person I know, he's also the most selfless and caring. Whether I need sincere advice or someone to hang and drink a beer with, he (and his family) have always been there for me without hesitation. Neither of us can remember exactly when we became friends, but that's irrelevant because now she's family. Milley, (aka Lauren) is joy personified. She is always up for activities or an adventure. Her giant heart makes her one of the kindest and most thoughtful people you will ever meet. Johnny is one of the most hard working and persistent people I know. With a great love for his family and friends, Johnny's take charge approach has served him well in life. Danielle may seem quiet at first, then you'll find she's charming and funny.
