1. What date should I RSVP by?

We require all responses by 30th March 2026. Please note if you do not respond by this date, you will not be able to attend our wedding.

2. What time should I arrive?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm, so please plan to arrive by 1pm to allow time for parking and seating. The evening reception will begin at 7:15pm so please plan to arrive from 6:45 in readiness of the evening event commencing.

3. Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Manor House Hotel & Spa, West Auckland, County Durham DL14 9HW. Directions and a map can be found on the Event page.

4. Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is on-site parking available at the venue.

5. Are children welcome?

Answer

No one likes a party pooper, literally! If you are not old enough to drink, you're too young to party. Unfortunately our wedding is a strictly over 18s event.

6. Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests formally listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

7. Is there accommodation at the venue?

Answer

There are a limited number of rooms at the hotel, if you would like to secure a room, please contact the hotel to confirm this. You can secure a room with £25 deposit and settled the balance upon arrival. Alternative accommodation includes the Premier Inn at Bishop Auckland, West Auckland Road, Tindale Crescent, Bishop Auckland DL14 9AP (5 mins in a taxi to the venue).

Formal attire requested, suits and smart dress wear.

9. What if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

Let us know when you RSVP. The venue can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice.

10. Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is the only gift we need, but if you wish to contribute towards our future, we'd be grateful for a donation towards our honeymoon fund and the start of our married life.
