If you need introduced to the Maid of Honor, Chloe, you definitely shouldn’t be at the wedding. In fact, we would actually have to question if you’ve even met Tess, because if you know Tess then you know Chloe. Tess and Chloe shared a womb and have hardly any physical traits to show for it, but they get along like best friends. Josh and Tess have Chloe to thank for their relationship, because she scouted him out and put in a very good word to Tess about him.

Tess met Chloe while working at Starbucks their Sophomore year of college. She was introduced to Tess as Chloe Calvert, but quickly became ‘Venti Chloe,’ given that Chloe Courtney (who is much shorter) also worked there. They made a tradition out of closing the store on a Saturday evening while blasting Return of the Mac and then silently opening the store on Sunday mornings. Tess can always count on her to crack a joke, sing along to One Direction, or be a sounding board and shoulder to cry on. She has remained a great friend throughout the years, and Tess had the opportunity to stand beside her as she became Chloe Jarvis in November of 2024.
Kaitlyn Virtue

Kaitlyn Stump (Virtue as of September 27th, 2025!!!) is one of those friends who has endured the test of time and will always have a solid residence in Tess’ heart. They met in middle school and have only grown to understand each other more as they get older. Despite being in completely different states and being apart all through college, Tess reflects fondly on all the ridiculous inside jokes and time spent eating brownie batter out of a huge bowl while watching paranormal activity. Josh and Tess are always inspired by Kaitlyn because she’s one of those people who’s so good at everything that you could easily hate her, but is so kind and charming that you have to love her! (and actually so is her husband Tyler, what are the odds!)
Ashley Howard

Not many people get so lucky as to even like their randomly-assigned college roommate, but Tess won the lottery with Ashley. Chloe and Tess spent a few days scoping Ashley out from the other side of the dorm until Ashley eventually took a seat in the middle of their room and said “okay let’s get to know each other,” and the rest was history. They were charmed by her Kentucky accent and all her funny mannerisms, but a deeper friendship developed as they realized she will always dance with you on a night out, will always pick up little trinkets that remind her of you, and will be prepared to fight for you before even hearing your side of the story. She is endlessly supportive and at the root of some of Tess’ best memories.
Kayla Rosier

Tess (and Chloe, which goes without saying, huh?) noticed Kayla snooping on them from inside the woods behind their house in the summer of 2008. She was strange and honestly kind of rude, but they took a liking to her and forced her out of her shell. She became a sister to Tess in every sense of the word. They spent some time apart while Tess was away at college, as siblings usually do, but Chloe and Tess thought of Kayla often- especially when they were around their friend Kiernan Rosier. They realized Kiernan was basically the male version of Kayla and become determined to pair them up. Now a few years later, Kayla Rosier will get to stand next to Tess as she becomes Tess Taflan.
Rose Quintero Liemann

Tess met Emily Rose in highschool- well actually they knew each other in middle school, but their paths didn’t really intertwine until much later. Tess helped Emily get a job with her at the local italian place which will not be named. Em and Tess started casually chatting one night while closing up the restaurant, and before they knew it they were screaming about music, philosophy, religion, and politics from across the restaurant while speed cleaning. They were shocked they had gone so many years without being friends, and spent all their time from then on attached at the hip making up for lost time. No matter where life takes them, they stay on the same wavelength.
