Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Courtney Merfeld and Roy Stigall

Monterey Bay Aquarium

886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940
, (831) 648-4800

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the best aquariums on this planet (we swear!) Check out the jellies, penguins, octopus and sea otters! Following the Aquarium, you can walk to all of the shops along Fisherman's Wharf (Clam Chowder is a bread bowl has never tasted so good. Even if you don't like clam chowder, you'll LOVE this clam chowder). Relax at Lover's Point, just a mile down the walking path, and enjoy some time looking our into the gorgeous Pacific- check out the whales, sea lions, and sea otters just enjoying life.

Carmel Beach

Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA 93923

Head down to Carmel by the Sea, and enjoy the quaint, cute town with tons of shops, restaurants, and art galleries. If you are traveling with your furry friends, they'll love Carmel Beach- it's dog friendly, and there are dogs everywhere! Carmel is one of our favorite places to eat. A few of our favorites are Dametra (Mediterranean); Vesuvio (authentic Italian with a great rooftop with firepits); Little Napoli (Italian); Mission Ranch (American and absolutely gorgeous. Owned by Clint Eastwood, it has incredible views and is a great place to grab a snack and take in the sights); Katy's Place (our favorite breakkie/ brunch, CASH ONLY) and Carmel Belle (casual, breakkie/ brunch)

Big Sur

Big Sur

Big Sur, CA 93920

Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Spend a half day, and drive up the gorgeous Highway 1 to the Bixby Bridge (you might recognize the scenery from Big Little Lies) and take a hike (literally) at Pfeiffer Beach or Point Lobos State National Reserve. Once you're done, enjoy one of the best burgers in the world at Nepenthe- you deserve it!

Carmel Valley Wineries

Carmel Valley Wineries

Carmel Valley, CA 93924

Carmel Valley has some of the best tasting rooms and vineyards in California. Some favorites include Folktale Winery and Bernardus Winery and Vineyard. If you plan on spending a half day in the valley this is an incredible resource for tasting rooms (https://www.winecountry.com/blog/carmel-valley-wineries/). Following wine tasting, there's nothing better than Mexican Food! Our favorite spot is Baja Cantina- we never take a trip home without stopping in!

The Bagpiper at the Inn at Spanish Bay

The Bagpiper at the Inn at Spanish Bay

Pebble Beach, CA 93953

Enjoy the Bagpiper who plays at 5pm every evening by the fire pits- A true MUST DO for anyone who's never been. Following the Bagpiper, enjoy dinner at some of our favorite restaurants inside the Inn at Spanish Bay; Peppoli's Restaurant is delicious Italian (their lasagna is to die for), and you can never go wrong at ROY's (!), Hawaiian Fusion right next door. In need of a night cap? Check out Stave wine cellar a stone's throw away from both restaurants.

Pebble Beach Golf Links

Pebble Beach, CA 93953

Pebble Beach is Golf Heaven. The Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill, Poppy Hills and Pebble Beach Golf Links are Roy's favorites places in the world. If you're looking to spend a day with the birdies and eagles, please let us know so we can try and help out! Our favorite 19th hole locations include The Bench at the Lodge, The Tap Room at the Lodge, Sticks at Spanish Bay and Porter's at Poppy Hills!

17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive

Start in Pacific Grove and take the famous 17 Mile Drive through the Pebble Beach Forrest by the famous Lone Cypress tree and end in Carmel. We promise, the sites will not disappoint - you'll want to bring your camera along for this one!
