One of the great places to eat in Charlestown, MD. They offer live music, outdoor seating, and the restaurant next door "The RiverShack" is our summer go-to spot! We dock the boat right on their marina in the summer as well! Bonus: It's right on the water!
Elk Neck State Park
Elk Neck State Park is located 10 miles south of North East. Elk Neck State Park has 2,200 acres of lush waterfront forests, rustic cabins and campsites for tents, trailers, and motor homes. The park has 10 miles of hiking trails, a sandy beach, and miniature golf. Turkey Point Lighthouse, one of the Chesapeake Bay’s oldest lighthouses in continuous operation, is also located within the park and is accessible from an easy 2 mile trail.
