What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests dress in Black Tie Optional attire. Get dressed up with us! We are looking forward to a formal event with you all. For ladies this includes a floor length formal dress or gown. For gentlemen, a tuxedo or a suit and tie are both appropriate.

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The nearest airport to the hotels and venue is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Dulles International Airport (IAD) is also a good option when flying into the DC area.

What is the weather like in DC in August?

Answer

Hot! The DC area gets very humid in the summer, so bring some sunglasses, drink lots of water to stay hydrated, and wear sunscreen if you are spending time outside.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be held on an outdoor patio.

How should I get around while I am in town?

Answer

The DC Metro system is amazing and easy to use! You can use any tap to pay card to get on the metro, or purchase a metro card at any station. Our hotels are in Rosslyn, which has a metro station with access to the Orange, Silver, and Blue lines.
