We're getting married!

Living on opposite sides of Broken Arrow, we met in the middle while acting in the Happy Days musical production. Special thanks to Lindsay Harris and Carla Fox for that. Over the next several months we bonded over karaoke and eventually started seeing each other much to everyone's surprise (including our own).

Let me set the scene for you. First off, it's HOT outside. Second, I'm not looking cute. I'm getting ready to go floating down the river on a raft, sitting on a cooler, tying my shoes. Patrick starts recording unbeknownst to me. Michael, getting down on one knee: "Babe?" Me, not even turning around: "Sup?" Michael, still on one knee and getting progressively nervous: "Babe? Can you turn around?" Me: "Give me a sec, I'm busy" Beth, still recording and trying not to crack up: "Amber! Turn around!!" Me: "What?!" turns around..... *super confused Amber face* "Is this a joke????" Slowly realizing this is not a joke, I start to get concerned about Michael because he looks like he legit might die of fright. "Is he okay???" Michael, stumbling over a speech I never got to hear. Me: "Is that a pokeball?" Michael, suddenly getting his thoughts semi-together: "Yes is is! Because I choose you. Will you marry me?" Me, trying not to laugh at this total debacle: "Yes babe, of course!" Flash forward to Michael catching his breath and cute hugs. Definitely not what I was expecting from a proposal although it should have been 😂

Definitely not what any of us were expecting but here we are! While the wedding day isn't going exactly as planned we are still so excited to celebrate with you all. For family and the bridal party, there will be a live ceremony and we hope the rest of you can join us for the virtual event. There is a link on the event page to join in.
