Our story begins at Meadowlark Middle School in 2008. Long story short, we went on our “first date” to see Indiana Jones (Zach loved it, and I not so much) with my dad and sister a few rows ahead of us. The love did not bloom then but fast forward about three years and we became best friends again junior year of high school. Still no love connection! FINALLY, end of senior year (I’m talking days after graduation) Zach asks me out! Hallelujah, which was said by everyone I know since all I talked about was Zach Flippin. Unfortunately the relationship didn’t last and we go our separate ways for a few years. Then I move home from Boone, NC (roll neers) and we rekindle a friendship. I told him many times, he can attest to this, that we were only friends and I had NO interest in dating him again. Zach was just happy to have me back in his life and by not forcing the topic I fell madly in love with this boy. Fast forward another four years and he pops the question and I of course said yes!
