In 2022, Courtney was working and living in Hudson, Florida, and Xavier was working on his terminal degree in Tampa, Florida. Dabbling in the dating life, they both found themselves on a dating app. As both had just about grown tired of the app, Xavier swiped right on Courtney, and the waiting game began. Courtney soon swiped back, and a conversation ensued. After numerous text messages, Xavier finally built up the courage to FaceTime Courtney while leaving Guitar Center. As they talked on FaceTime, he sat in the car for about an hour and even turned the camera around to show a random "Punch Buggy Convention" happening in the same parking lot of Guitar Center. The conversation was great, as they talked and laughed - all while Courtney's food was getting cold, but she was too kind to tell Xavier that she had just purchased a meal and was ready to eat. She continued the conversation and ate later on that evening. A few days later, Xavier asked Courtney on a "Pre-Date" because he could not wait to see her, and he also wanted to see if they would hit it off before a real date. Courtney agreed, and they met up at Twistee Treats in Hudson on April 18, 2022, after she left work. Once they met, Courtney was ALL OVER Xavier! Like butter on toast! They both bought strawberry smoothies, and Xavier ordered a corndog (that they put in the microwave, which completely ruined the corndog). They sat at the wooden picnic table and nervously hit off. Shortly after, they soon went on a real date to Vino e Pasta, where they had an amazing date night with beautiful food, wonderful laughs and conversations, and lastly, a beautiful time with each other. That night was filled with memories, fun, and several gifts that the two purchased for each other. A few gifts to Courtney were a toothbrush, a blanket, house shoes, and a set of black dining utensils. This was very bold, I know. The black dining set and other gifts were because Xavier had all of those items and one set of black utensils (1 dinner fork, 1 salad fork, 1 spoon, 1 teaspoon, and 1 butter knife), and he wanted to let Courtney know that he wanted her around and that he had already made plans for her to be comfortable when she was around. She was so comfortable, they kissed before the night was over! Yes, siiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrr! Locked down a real one! Story told by Xavier with 100% accuracy.
