Maid of Honor
Jenna is my little sister, longest and best friend. I was 4 years old when I became a big sister. I loved her so much before I even met her that I wanted to name her after my favorite movie character -- Balto (the sled dog)'s girlfriend, Jenna -- and my parents went for it. We've always been very close. We used to share a room but would have "sleepovers" in my top bunk bed because her being in the bunk below wasn't enough. I can always count on Jenna to make me laugh. You will find us on the dance floor singing and dancing to Taylor Swift and actually everything else, too.
Best Man
Mason is both my oldest friend and my newest friend. Growing up it was always hard to look at your younger brother as a friend. He was always a brother to me, but for the longest time that’s all I looked at him as. It wasn’t until we were older that I realized how much I depended on him, and how much we had in common. I realized I had taken having a younger brother for granted, and that I would be a completely different person if not for him. Waking up on the weekends to watch competitive call of duty, staying up late to play video games or watch anime, sending memes in countless group chats, long road trips to visit the Louria’s; all things I thought I was doing with my younger brother, I later realized I was doing with my best friend.

I met Chelsea at my first RN job. Everyone at work always confused us for one another since we were both new nurses and had long, brown hair. We became quick friends and over the years, best friends, more like (twin) sisters. We first bonded over our love for Harry Potter and hate for Severus Snape. Now, we do everything together including taste-testing all the hard seltzers, bar crawls, working in a COVID-19 ICU, receiving groundbreaking vaccinations, and now getting married. There's no one else I'd rather work a 12 hour shift with!
Groomsman
Nick was my mean big brother for a long time. But I always knew he loved me. Yes, he would shove me off the couch, but when I got back up, he would let me play video games with him. We used to play everything together throughout the years and even made a RockBand with Nick on guitar, Jenna on drums, and of course I would sing. Thinking about it now, we actually spent a lot of time together, mostly video games, but also playing real-life Dragon Ball Z (even though I didn't know what it was at the time), teaching me about Pokemon, and then that one summer when we tried to film our own version of "Scream." Wish we could find that tape... Nick would always beat the hard parts of games for Jenna and I. He's always been there for us, still is.

I met Liz back in 2008!! She was my first friend I made in high school. We became friends very quickly and would hang out every Wednesday after school to watch Pretty Little Liars together. When we hang out, it's like we're 16 again. We have so many memories together driving around suburbs of Riverview, our first high school party, and Sunday funday brunches including a random alley photoshoot. We have known each other for over 10 years, so I know I can always count on Liz to be there.
Groomsman
Mike and I were almost always forced to hang out at a young age. Mike's mom and my mom were teachers at the same Montessori school, and ended up having to stay after while our moms prepped class for the next day or cleaned up the room from the previous day. Because our parents worked at a Montessori school, we ended up in a lot of the same classes at that same school. From wreaking havoc in Mrs. Marzec’s class, to pulling all-nighters playing call of duty we always ended up doing something together. Mike was that friend for me that I might not see very frequently, but will always be one of my closest friends.

As our old basketball coach used to say every time Carly and I were together, "People let me tell you 'bout my best friend..." So Carly accidentally touched my butt while in line for basketball tryouts in 2008 and the rest is history! When Carly and I are together, we can't stop laughing. We both played basketball and soccer throughout high school so we spent most of our days together, always sitting next to each other on the bus to and from games. We also tried to make our school schedules the same, taking AP classes together and struggling through the bad books and talking way too much in chemistry. Carly is another friend that I know I'll have for life. When we first became friends, I knew she would be one of my future bridesmaids even before I met my future husband.

But wait, there’s two of them? Christian (or Tian as we all call him), is the middle Louria child. He was the same age as Mason so more often than not, Mason and Tian would be hanging out with me and Mike. The Louria’s moved to Pittsburgh shortly after me and Mike started high school, and funnily enough that brought me and Tian closer together. Losing an entire family of your closest friends left me with a bunch of free time, and I filled a lot of that free time by playing video games, specifically playing video games with Tian. I would get home from school every day and hop on Zombies or Minecraft with Tian, and play until it was time to go to bed - then repeat the following day. To this day, I know Tian is just a FaceTime away, and that he will make time to get a Minecraft session in.
Groomsman
Brandon was a friend of a friend who (shocker) I met playing Xbox. We finally met in person at the midnight release for Destiny, and still play it to this day. Brandon was also the person that got me into beer, and more specifically craft beer. We started going to breweries, or just hanging out swapping beers from different places. It was apparent very quickly that he got along with my entire family, and with Courtney. We went to Tigers games with him, and he came over to bonfires with just me and my dad. Don’t ever start an argument with him because you will never win (even if you’re right), but definitely get to know him. He’s a wonderful person and a great friend.
Groomsman
But wait, there's three of them? The youngest Louria brother, Mark was always just “there”. Me and Mike were the same age, Tian and Mason were the same age, and Mark tended to always be with one of them. Had that been the end of it, i would have picked him to be a groomsmen purely as a younger brother, but as he got older I realized how much we had in common. I would show up to their house and we would be in the exact same outfit (same exact Nike shoes, same shorts from Pacsun, same lulu shirt). I would go to Pittsburgh to see Mike play hockey, and end up hanging out with Mark the entire time. We wouldn’t see each other in person for years, but play Xbox nearly every day for hours. Younger brother yes, one of my best friends - definitely.

Dom is one of the many friends I have been accused of “stealing” by Mason. He is one of masons closest friends that I still remember as a pudgy little kid playing soccer more so than the person he is today. He came with us to a music festival in Delaware in 2014, and that was the first time I remember looking at him as one of my friends, not just as one of masons. Over the years we’ve bonded over beer, video games, soccer, fantasy sports - and most recently the ins and outs of heavy machinery. A great coworker, and an even better friend.
Officiant
Kevin was the first friend I made when he switched from private school to public school in Riverview. Kevin and I were the only two freshman to get invited to a varsity soccer camp at Oakland University, and got paired up as roommates in the dorms. When we both pulled out their Nintendo DS’s to play Pokémon in our spare time, we knew right away that we’d get along. Flash forward 4 years, and it was almost inevitable that Court and I would be over at Kevin’s for a bonfire on any given weekend. One of our oldest and dearest friends, we are so excited that he offered to do this for us.
