If you’re looking for something fun to do while you’re in town, the Minnesota State Fair is a must—our number one recommendation and widely known as the number one state fair in the U.S. The State Fair will be going on August 27 - September 7. If you’re traveling in from out of town, we highly encourage you to check it out. It’s one of Minnesota’s most iconic events and a great way to spend a day or evening. Getting there is easy, with bus transportation conveniently located less than a half mile from our hotel room block at the National Sports Center. The fair also offers on‑site parking, and Uber or taxi services are great options as well. Once you’re there, be sure to enjoy some of the fair’s most well‑known treats, including Sweet Martha’s cookies and Mouth Trap cheese curds. If you have any questions or would like additional suggestions during your stay, feel free to reach out to Tyler.
