Tom and I met at our apartment complex pool in Fort Walton Beach, FL, in 2015. At the time, he was working on a bridge project that would take two years, and I had been living there for six months. We became friends for nearly a year before deciding to make it official in 2016. After two and a half years, Tom returned to Jacksonville, FL, and we put a lot of miles on our cars during our long-distance relationship for the next three and a half years. Finally, in 2021 I moved to Jacksonville and somehow fell in love with this city. In March 2024, we took an amazing trip to Italy, where Tom popped the question.
