Dock Square
Take a stroll through the downtown area of Kennebunkport, known as "Dock Square." Some of our favorites are Big Daddy's Ice Cream, Daytrip Society, Home Ingredients, and The Candyman.
Ocean Avenue
Cruise down Ocean Ave via car or bike to experience the beauty of coastal Maine. You will also find Walker's Point, the Bush family compound, towards the end of the avenue.
Gooch's Beach
Make your way down to Gooch's Beach for an afternoon in the sun or a walk on the beach. Bring a towel or chair if you plan to venture for a beach day. Ask your hotel about beach permits if you plan to drive.
Grab a Bite to Eat
Mabel's Lobster Claw - A Kennebunkport Institution. A great spot for lunch or dinner right by the river. C&T Fave: Crispy Calamari The Clam Shack - Take it from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and check out this famous Clam Shack that serves fresh fried seafood and locally-caught lobster. C&T Fave: Fried Shrimp Basket (though most would say the Lobster Roll) The Boathouse - This waterfront restaurant is in the hotel and is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner on the river to watch the boats go by. C&T Fave: Steak & Noodle Salad Little Barn - Cozy and delicious dinner spot at the beautiful White Barn Inn. C&T Fave: Crispy Brussels Sprouts Some of our favorite grab-and-go options are: Fia Fia - Smoothies, acaí bowls, and coffee shop located in Dock Square. Old Salt's Pantry - Deli in town with delicious made-to-order breakfast sandwiches (and other things) HB Provisions - Small grocery/cafe for coffee (We recommend the blueberry coffee)
