Do I have to stay at the recommended lodging?

Answer

No. If you stay anywhere in town, at both Dingle and Killarney, you will be within walking distance of everyone else.

Can I just go to the wedding in Dingle and skip Killarney?

What kind of weather should I expect.

Answer

For the same week in 2024, the highs for the day ranged from 58 - 75. In Ireland there is a chance for a bit of rain everyday, a raincoat is a must.

What about electric adaptors?

Answer

To charge your electronics you will need a plug adaptor. We have a link for the one we bought on the travel page. If you want to bring a hair dryer, curling or flattening iron you need to be sure it is labelled as dual voltage, most are not. Note: The hotels should have hair driers for your use.
