We went to dinner at FireRock Grille for a fancy night out. After dinner, we went to a nearby park to go for a short walk before heading back home to watch a movie. When we arrived at the park, Derek was waiting by the bushes for us. He guided us through the overgrowth of the path and there was a blanket covered in rose petals, sunflowers, and candles waiting for us. My heart was racing! We walked over to the blanket and he asked me to MARRY him!! Of course I said YES!!!
