Dress code is elegant cocktail attire: long dresses, cocktail dresses for women, suits or dress pants with a blazer for men. Black tie formal is not required. Plan for warm, humid Florida weather in mid-October. Daytime temperatures typically run in the low-to-mid 80s, cooling only slightly in the evening. The ceremony will take place outdoors in the afternoon, then move indoors for the reception. Light, breathable fabrics are recommended.
There are three public garages within walking distance of the Lake Pavilion: 1. Banyan Street Garage – 200 Banyan Blvd., at Banyan Boulevard and Olive Avenue, one block north of Clematis Street. This is the closest garage to the Pavilion. 2. Evernia Street Garage – 333 Evernia St., at Evernia Street and Olive Avenue, two blocks south of Clematis Street. 3. City Hall Garage – 199 N Dixie Hwy., at Banyan Street and S. Dixie Highway, one block north of Clematis Street. Garage Rates: • Monday–Friday: $1 for the first two hours; $2 for each additional half hour • Metered on-street parking is also available.
We kindly ask that our celebration be adults only (18+). This was not an easy decision, but it allows us to celebrate with as many of our favorite people as possible. Thank you so much for your understanding!
