When’s the big day?!

Answer

We don’t know yet unfortunately! Because of COVID-19, all U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide have temporarily stopped visa services. We don’t have our application for a fiancé visa in the system yet, so until they restart visa services, we do not have a true estimate of when Sione will be able to come to America. Once we get our application in however, we have been told it can be anywhere from 3-10 months before his interview in Fiji, and then shortly after that he would come to America. So ideally before the end of this year, but more likely Spring/Summer 2021.

What’s your plan after you get married?

Answer

We will settle in the Fernandina area at least for the short term future!

Will you ever live in Tonga again?

Answer

I would love to! However the focus and goal right now is to get Sione to America, obtain his green card, establish and be stable in our life in the States for a while, then go from there. We hope to visit Tonga within 6 months of getting married stateside though so we can have a ceremony and celebration with his family!

Where are you getting married?

Answer

Definitely in Fernandina Beach. The venue is still undecided but we are hoping for Walker’s Landing at the Omni Resort.
