FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wedding Attire: We kindly request that women attend in semi-formal to formal attire, such as dresses, pantsuits, or rompers. For men, our wedding party will be wearing nice jeans, a dress shirt, and a sports jacket, so we recommend a similar semi-formal look. As the evening may get cooler, we suggest bringing a comfortable change of clothes to ensure your comfort throughout the celebration.

Question

Can we camp nearby?

Answer

Yes, we have camping spaces available across three properties for tents and trailers. However, these spots may fill up quickly. If we run out of camping space near Cluculz Lake, guests will need to make alternative arrangements and drive in for the wedding.

Question

What will parking look like?

Answer

To help guests navigate parking, we recommend carpooling when possible. Street parking will be available, and we'll maximize on-site parking to accommodate as many vehicles as we can.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Courtney at 778-675-1441

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will feature a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. While we'll provide a selection of drinks, guests are welcome to bring additional beverages. We'll have juice, soda, and water available for those preferring non-alcoholic choices. Please note that we won't have a bartender on-site, so we encourage guests to help themselves to the drink selection.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that you only bring the guests specifically named on your invitation, as we have limited venue space and catering arrangements.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, our celebration will be magical! If the forecast calls for rain, we'll be prepared with elegant tents to keep everyone comfortable and the festivities seamless. Feel free to bring umbrellas as an extra precaution, but rest assured that a little weather won't dampen our spirits.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly invite you to be present and enjoy our ceremony, while also capturing memories through your photos. Professional photographers will be documenting the day, but we welcome your personal snapshots. We simply ask that you remain engaged in the moment and celebrate with us while taking pictures.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 1:00pm and 1:30pm for our 2:00pm ceremony. This will give you ample time to park, find your seat, and get comfortable before we begin. Early arrival ensures a smooth and relaxed start to our special day.

Question

Can I wear black?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to wear black to the wedding, even if the bride is also wearing black.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

For your outdoor wedding on grass and gravel, we suggest wide heels or flats to ensure comfortable movement. Our wedding party will be wearing cowboy boots, which are also a great option. We recommend bringing a second pair of shoes to change into later, allowing you to dance the night away in comfort and style.

Question

Will there be running water?

Answer

Our rustic cabin retreat offers an authentic off-grid experience with electricity and a charming outdoor bathroom facility. While running water is not available, the property's beautifully maintained outhouse provides a comfortable and scenic alternative that embraces the natural setting.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our catering will feature a diverse buffet with options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and guests with dietary restrictions. We'll have gluten-free and lactose-free selections available. If you have specific food allergy concerns, please feel free to contact Courtney directly to ensure your dining experience is safe and enjoyable.

Question

Is pets allowed?

Answer

Pets are not permitted at our wedding venue. We kindly request that you leave your furry companions at home for the wedding day. While our own dog and the bride's father's protective Cane Corso will be present on the properties, we prioritize the safety of all guests and animals. If you wish to camp with your pets, we recommend finding accommodations at a nearby lake to ensure everyone's comfort and security.
