In 2009, Courtneys' friend invited her to hangout at her boyfriends house. The friends boyfriend, happened to be Shawns' brother. While hanging out, Shawn arrived home from work. Shawn approached Courtney and they exchanged numbers. During their first conversation Shawn told Courtney that they were meant to be because Charlie Wilsons' "There Goes My Baby" was playing on the radio, and he looked up and saw her. I guess we can say the rest was history.

From hello to forever

How we met

Anyone who knows Courtney, knows that Paris has always been a dream vacation for her. In 2020, Shawn and Courtney went to Paris to celebrate her 35th birthday, after taking a romantic dinner cruise on the Sienne River they were heading to a Cabaret. It was during that walk from the Sienne to the show that Shawn tripped up and when Courtney turned around to see what happened she found him on one knee asking her to marry him.
