Maid of Honor
Rachel is Courtney’s cousin and her favorite family reunion buddy. Despite never living in the same state, they have remained close, and they never miss an opportunity to take on an escape room together. Rachel planned a combined New Year's Eve and retirement party for her mom at the end of last year, and uses her creativity to make her own shoes!
Best Man
Alex is Robert’s older brother and lifelong role model. As the eldest of the four brothers, he’s always been the Leonardo of their Ninja Turtle squad—offering steady guidance, leadership, and inspiration. He even motivated Robert to run his first marathon last year! Alex has been happily married to his amazing wife, Gabby, for ten years and is the proud dad of the adorable ring bearers. He is also a huge fan of both football and fútbol.
Bridesmaid
Shauna is Courtney’s older sister. She was the first one who showed Courtney that singing in choir was cool, and has been a mentor and a voice of reason throughout her life. She’s been married 16 years to Skyler, loves to travel and volunteer, and is mom to our flower girls.
Groomsman
Jonathan is Robert’s second youngest brother. He graduated from Warner Pacific located in Portland, Oregon. His hobbies include disc golf, watching baseball, and photography. He lives in Wilsonville with his girlfriend, Kennedy. They have two cats named Luna and Venus. He often finds himself in conversations about cars and sports.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Courtney attended Gonzaga University together. She hails from the great state of Arizona, though she currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has almost learned how to appreciate winter in its full glory. Almost. She loves to cook and spends as much time in the garden and exploring the upper Midwest as Wisconsin’s fleeting, but glorious summer will allow. She can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
Groomsman
Mikie is Robert’s youngest brother. He works at the Rose Quarter in Portland, so you can usually find him at concerts or cheering on the Trail Blazers. He and Robert share a deep love for music. They often swap instruments and songs they are learning. Back when Robert was in college, Mikie made it a tradition to visit every summer, and the two would hit up shows in Milwaukee and Chicago. (P.S. He wants to share he is single, ladies )
Bridesmaid
Chelsea and Courtney met at the Catholic student center at Boise State University. She loves her family, and set up an Amazing Race-style adventure for them to guide them to all of her favorite places in Boise. She also competes in Irish dance!
Groomsman
Devansh and Robert met while interning at a software company during their time at Marquette. Even though they were on opposite rotations, once they met, they became close friends. They bonded over their enjoyment of attending basketball games and brewery tours. Devansh is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin.
Bridesmaid
April is Robert’s cousin, and they grew especially close when she lived with his family during their teenage years. Many nights were spent battling it out over Guitar Hero and rummy matches. April now lives in Phoenix, where she showed Courtney the best brunch spots when Courtney traveled there for work.
Groomsman
Brandon is Courtney's older brother. He spent the last couple decades becoming an expert software engineer. Occasionally he makes small video games with friends. Brandon also enjoys board games, role-playing games, pickleball, table tennis, curling, and trivia. His preferred mode of vacation primarily revolves around walking around parks and eating snacks. Robert and Courtney enjoy matching wits with him over board games.
Bridesmaid
Lyshy is Robert’s cousin and the unofficial Krause sister. As one of the few cousins living in Portland, she, her husband Panda (yes, Robert’s family loves nicknames), and their son Ashor became their own little branch of the Krause family. Since then, they’ve moved back to Salt Lake City but remain just as close. Last summer, she and Courtney formed a fast bond during Hood to Coast (because nothing says “family” like spending 36 hours in a van together).
Groomsman
Jamie is Robert’s cousin, and the two have always been close, but they became even tighter when they both ended up living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While there, they joined a beer-in-hand kickball league (because, of course, that’s what you do in Wisconsin) and explored the state together. Even though Robert has since moved away, their bond lives on, mostly through teaming up to dominate kids in Rocket League.
Flower Girls
Bridget (10) and Claire (7) are Courtney’s nieces. Bridget just finished fourth grade, plays violin, and loves reading and math. Claire just finished first grade, is a red belt in taekwondo, and has lots of energy! Both girls love writing stories and playing together.
Ring Bearers
Mo (8) and Solo (4) are Robert’s nephews, with Mo also being his godson. Robert babysat both of them as babies and has been on a mission to earn the "title of favorite" uncle ever since. Mo has become a master LEGO builder, while Solo impressively knows every single Godzilla monster by name.
