What time is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will begin at 4:30 pm with cocktail hour and the reception directly following the ceremony, all at the same location. The reception will end at 12:00 am.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Our wedding party will be wearing a sea glass (light blue/green) color.

What type of shoes are best for the venue?

Answer

The venue is cobblestone, so flat shoes are strongly encouraged so that you are able to walk and dance comfortably!

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

Unless specified on the formal invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate any plus ones or extra children that were not specified on your invitation. Our venue is very limited on the amount of guests we can have, and children are also counted in our total count, no matter how small they are. Thank you for your understanding!

Camera Policy

Answer

We kindly request that you refrain from using camera devices, such as smartphones, cameras, or any other recording devices, during our wedding ceremony. This will allow all of us to fully be present and cherish our special moment, uninterrupted. At the conclusion of our ceremony and into the reception, please feel free to use these devices to capture all of the special moments.

Yes, there is parking on the street outside of the venue and down the street a little further from the venue.

Is there a pool at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a pool at the venue that will be open for anyone who would like to use it throughout the night.

What type of currency is used in the Azores?

Answer

Euros- remember to transfer dollars to Euros before traveling. Some banks take longer to get Euros in stock, so make sure to leave enough time to get them before traveling. Some places on the island accept cards as well, but you may be charged extra depending on your card company.

Do I need a plug adapter while in the Azores?

Yes, we used this Type C Plug Adapter from Amazon while there in February and they worked for everything we brought besides my hair dryer. Hair dryers do not work if they are over 1200 watts. https://a.co/d/0izRb9RO

Is there a shuttle on the day of the wedding?

Yes, a shuttle route is being prepared and we will have more information closer to our wedding date.

Important Carry-On Information

Answer

Carry-On Bag must be 55x40x20 cm (21.65 x 15.75 x 7.87 in.) including the wheels & handles in the dimensions measurement and weigh no more than 17 lbs. Personal Item must be 40×30×15 cm (5.7 x 11.8 x 5.9 in).

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels nearby?

Answer

We are not going to block off any hotel rooms since this is a destination wedding and everyone will be coming and going at different times throughout the week. Please see the "Travel" section on our wedding website that has many different suggestions for accommodations from our wedding planner, you may also choose to book through a travel agent on your own as well!
