Formal Recommended. There will be soft grass and gravel in parking lot, Women might want to consider flats altogether or flats for ceremony and switch to heels for Cocktail hour & Reception. If you are good in heels the grass\gravel is just parking lot, the walk to the site is solid.

When on Portage Road, upon entering Artpark lookout for and follow signs to parking at "Fisherman's Lot".
