Courtney and Mitch first crossed paths briefly in 2014. They shared a few texts over the years, but their true journey began in 2019 while they were working and living in New York City. It all started through a mutual friend and after their first date the rest was history. Two months later, Courtney and Mitch planned their first weekend getaway to Miami. Little did they know, Miami would become the place they first called home together. Soon faced with the challenges of the pandemic, they returned to their home towns in Connecticut. During those months spent together, they were sure they had found something truly special. After embarking on another year of adventure back in New York, Courtney and Mitch started a new chapter in the vibrant city of Miami. Miami quickly became their own little piece of paradise, the place where they have created countless memories. Courtney and Mitch are thrilled to announce that not only is Miami a key piece of their love story, but also the place where they will exchange vows surrounded by their family and friends.

In December 2022 Mitch and Courtney reached their biggest milestone together amidst the majestic landscapes of Europe. Courtney was on a work trip to Germany and a few days into her stay Mitch joined her on the journey. After exploring Germany, they embarked on a scenic drive along the legendary autobahn, heading to ski the Austrian Alps of Kitzbuhel. Their first evening there was picturesque with a fresh dusting of winter white snow. After enjoying espresso martinis by the fireplace, they took a stroll to explore the hotel's breathtaking grounds. Beneath a romantic gazebo just the two of them, Mitch got down on one knee and asked Courtney to marry him. With a full heart, she immediately said “YES!”.
