We met on my first trip to Haiti when I was ten. The most interactions we had in the very beginning was throwing rocks at eachother or occasionally him talking me into singing. A few years after my first trip we began talking online and ending up becoming best friends. I took another trip down to haiti and realized that I really liked him but I thought I was sneeky and nobody knew (turns out everyone did) Two years later we began talking again and he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes of course. We spent the first 9 months apart and then I decided to spend the summer in Haiti. He ended up proposing 3 days after our one year anniversary❤
