We first met in elementary school (we were even square dancing partners!) but it took until high school before we really got to know one another. We started as friends, before going to Junior Banquet and Senior Prom together and eventually began dating with only a few months left in our senior year of high school. Although we were apart at different colleges, our friendship and love re-ignited during our senior year. Since that point, we've navigated life almost side-by-side. We attended the same physician assistant program at Stony Brook which also started our journey of living together, first in Setauket and then in Queens. After passing the PA licensing exam, Matt proposed to Courtney at one of their favorite vineyards out on eastern Long Island and she said yes! We are now building our careers in New York City and even work across the street from one another. Courtney currently works in orthopedics at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Matt works in the Internal Medicine department at New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell. We are so excited to continue this journey together and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with all of you!
