Despite growing up just 30 minutes apart, having mutual friends, and attending schools that played each other in sports, it took a 3,000-mile move across the country for Courtney and Mac to meet. Fate, serendipity, or luck — whatever you call it, their first meeting was on April 2, 2022, at The Waterfront in Venice Beach, CA. Courtney and Mac have always been drawn to adventure — from scuba diving (including swimming with sharks in Belize!) and skiing to traveling, four-wheeling, hiking, paragliding, and even picking up a new sport like pickleball. They love keeping their days full of fun, excitement, and new experiences. Through all the adventures over the last three years, one thing has remained true – their love for each other. With this journey starting in Los Angeles, they since have moved to Newport Beach in June 2024, excited to start a new chapter together. That new chapter was cemented on a dock at The Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee in Georgia on December 23rd, 2024 when Mac got down on one knee and asked Courtney to marry him.
