Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
We are not requiring guests to follow a specific dress code. We only ask that you do not wear colors typically reserved for the bride such as, white, cream, ivory, etc! The bridal party will be wearing sage/matcha green. Please dress for the weather as the end of August can be unpredictable with temperatures.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests that are formally invited on your wedding RSVP. If your RSVP specifies a plus one, please feel free to bring one! We ask that if your RSVP does not have a guest, please do not bring one. We unfortunately have a set number of guests allowed in the venue and cannot accommodate for everyone to have a guest!

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate children if they are formally invited on your wedding RSVP. We unfortunately have a set number of guests allowed in the venue and cannot accommodate everyone's children.

Where are the ceremony and reception being held?
Answer
Both our ceremony and our reception are being held at Leslie Meadows located at 11586 S 48th St, Fulton, MI 49052. The ceremony will be held in a shaded, wooded area of the property where guests will have the choice to walk down or to be ushered down via golf cart. Our ceremony will be followed by the a cocktail hour and reception which will both take place in the barn.

Can I smoke on the property?
Answer
Yes! However there is a designated smoking area that you MUST use. The designated smoking area is outside of the barn near the bonfire pit. Please take care of any cigarette butts that you may have. We will be fined if smoking is done in any other area, so please be respectful of us and our venue by following the rules!

Where do I park?
Answer
Please park in the dirt lot after you pass the home on the property. Please DO NOT park on the grass or in any walking areas. Please DO NOT park on the outlined septic field. Please DO NOT park in the circle dirt driveway. If you can carpool with your family, guests, etc - please do! Also, please only park in the handicap area if that applies to you.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?
Answer
No! We are having an unplugged ceremony and we very kindly ask you to not have any type of cameras, phones, etc out during our ceremony. Leave them in your car and be fully present with us as we say, "I Do!" We have hired a highly skilled photographer and videographer whose jobs are to capture these special moments! Please respect our wishes!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outside in a shaded, wooded area of the property weather permitting. Incase of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside the reception barn and guests will be asked to sit at their assigned dinner seats.

What if I forgot to RSVP?
Answer
Unfortunately if you do not RSVP by the deadline of July 20th, you will not be able to attend the wedding. We have to give our final counts to our various vendors, so this date is a hard deadline. To avoid missing out on our special day with us, please RSVP by July 20th.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?
Answer
We completely understand that life happens! Please let us know as soon as you are aware that you will not be in attendance so we can plan accordingly!

What food will be served?
Answer
We will be serving a variety of hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour including pasta salad, fruits, veggies, cheese, olives, etc. For dinner we will be doing a self-serve buffet with "Backyard BBQ" types of foods. BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, and mac-n-cheese with be prepared by Lawless BBQ. There will also be coleslaw, baked beans, fruit, etc.
