Red Rocks is known for their amazing concerts, but they also have great hiking in the area. During the day, you can go visit and walk around and check it out. Libier and I have enjoyed a few concerts here over the years as well as hiking. Sometimes, we also come to watch the sunrise from the steps of the Amphitheatre on summer weekends.
Downtown Denver has a lot of fun activities! Check out the city if you are interested in museums, aquariums, the zoo, and good eats! We are both really fond of the botanical gardens!
Take a tour of the Coors Brewery and see the original location of the beer and learn about the history, while enjoying tastings.
Downtown Golden is a really cute place to grab a drink! There are a lot of fun bars for everyone's taste on the main street, some include some dancing. We intend to keep the party going after the wedding at a bar in downtown Golden, so keep an eye out for additional information on the plans!
Estes Park is a beautiful part of Colorado, about an hour and a half drive from Denver. It has a cute main street with shopping, and yummy food and coffee. It is known for its beautiful hiking and scenery at Rocky National Park, check it out if you plan to stay a while after the wedding! If you plan to hike in this area, check the RMNP webpage for permits into the park. Also, take a tour of the Stanley Hotel while you're there, it's a really interesting one if you are a fan of The Shining and Stephen King.
Evergreen is a rustic mountain town not too far away from our wedding venue. Evergreen has one of our favorite hikes - check out our winter engagement pictures for the viewpoint from our favorite hike! But it also has a nice lake for paddleboarding in the summer and ice skating in the winter, and a cute rustic down town with good bars and food.
