Finding Larry cute and genuine, Courtney responded to his initial gesture. After a week of conversation, Larry and Courtney met at Pizza Tap for dinner on June 27, 2021. Given the simple yet intriguing exchange, the two decided to see where things could lead. Courtney couldn’t get him out of her head. She knew he was someone special, and by July 24, 2021, Larry had been captivated by Courtney’s intelligence, compassion, and charm, so he shared his serious feelings for her and they become an official couple. Shortly after, they met each other’s families. As their bond grew, they connected over a love of food, particularly desserts, TV shows, exercise, and trying new, thrilling experiences. As months turned into a year, Courtney and Larry shared moments, such as growing together in their faith, sharing and supporting each other’s cultures, celebrating holidays with families, enjoying vacations together, and encouraging each other’s career aspirations. But of all the amazing moments, December 19, 2022, became the most special. While on vacation near Austin, TX, they went hiking on Enchanted Rock. Reaching as far as they could on summit trail, Larry proposed to Courtney. It was the easiest “YES” she would ever have. The bond they have is one of deep and special love.
