Both being from Birmingham, Landon from Vestavia and Courtney from Oak Mountain, they always knew of each other. They first officially met in high school through a mutual friend, Ryan Dobbs, at the Cahaba River. He had always told Landon that they would like each other but, as high school went on, the timing just wasn't right yet. Years went by but there was one Friday night at the beginning of their freshman year of college they hung-out again. They both knew they wanted more than just a friendship, but again timing got in the way, as Landon was playing baseball at Darton in Georgia and Courtney was at The University of Alabama. Fast forward to the Summer of 2018, Landon was done with baseball and transferred to Alabama and Courtney was taking summer classes while working at an Urgent care in Tuscaloosa. Not even knowing Landon had moved there, Courtney walks into a small coffee shop and sees Landon working on his computer. She walks up to him, they laugh and catch up. Later that night, Landon sees Courtney out again and he walks up to her and they talked all night long. From then on out, they spent almost every day together, truly getting to know each other. Courtney wasn't ready to date just yet, but Landon's favorite line was, "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." He couldn't have been more right. Their relationship continued to grow everyday and without even realizing it, they had fallen in love. Timing is everything.
