What time should we arrive?

Answer

Plan to arrive about 15–20 minutes early so you can park, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in a covered area, so we’ll be protected if there’s a little rain and still comfortable in December. Texas weather can be unpredictable, but the space keeps things shaded and breezy.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re going for Semi‑Formal / Formal Wear to match the feel of the day. For the ladies: Feel free to get glammed up—cocktail dresses, formal dresses, or anything that makes you feel fabulous. The only thing we ask is that you leave white to the bride… she called dibs! For the gentlemen: No blue jeans for this one. Suits are great, but a button‑down with slacks works too. Ties are not required, so you can keep things polished without feeling too buttoned‑up.

How far is the venue from the hotel?

Answer

If you’re staying at Comfort Inn & Suites Burnet, you’re only about 8 minutes (6 miles) away from Hill Country Bliss.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at the same venue. No venue‑hopping, no GPS battles, no stress.

Can I bring a plus‑one?

Answer

Please follow the names listed on your invitation. If your invite includes a plus‑one, they’re absolutely welcome to join the fun.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this celebration is adults‑only so everyone can relax and enjoy the night.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Out‑of‑town guests should fly into Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). It’s about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Burnet, depending on traffic and how many Buc‑ee’s stops you make.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Burnet is a small Hill Country town, so having a car definitely helps. Rental cars are available at the airport.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There’s plenty of parking, including handicap spots right up front.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Comfort Inn & Suites Burnet. Check out the Travel tab for booking details. There are also a couple of other hotels and some nearby Airbnbs if you’d rather stay somewhere else—pick whatever feels most like “you.”

When is the deadline to book the hotel block?

Please book by July 31st to receive the group rate and perks.

Is the hotel block refundable?

Answer

The group block is prepaid and non‑cancelable once reservations are made, so double‑check your dates before booking.

Where are you registered?

Answer

For cash gifts, Zola accepts credit card and Venmo. Credit card gifts may include a small processing fee. If cash, Zelle, or Apple Pay works better, feel free to reach out to either of us. Absolutely! We’ll be serving delicious Texas BBQ along with beer, wine, and cocktails.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones away until after we say “I do.” Then snap away!
