Do I have to come to both events?

Is there a hotel block?

No, we decided against a hotel block. We want all guests to have the flexibility to choose accommodations that best suit their preferences.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

As there isn’t a hotel block, there also won’t be organized transportation. While Emerson Fields is a bit of a drive from Columbia, we recommend staying in Columbia as there is more to do and more family to see!

What should I wear? Is there a color palette?

Answer

For the sangeet, feel free to come in your brightest semi-formal party clothes! This could be a lehenga or a dress. We want you to feel comfortable, look good, and be ready to party! For the American wedding, we’ll tone it down with some garden party attire. The colors will be light pastels, but you aren’t limited to these! We just ask you don’t wear white.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a cash bar. There will also be complimentary “His” and “Hers” drinks. Any drinks outside of these can purchased. The only rule is no shots.
