Yes. Formal Attire, Black Tie Optional. Please dress for February weather as the ceremony is outside.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Absolutely! Please visit our Travel Page for a list of suggested hotels where we’ve reserved room blocks for our guests. For larger groups, we highly recommend checking out Airbnb or VRBO rentals — they can be a fun and budget-friendly way to stay together. Charleston also offers plenty of other great lodging options to fit a variety of budgets.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

No problem! Just let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure the chef is aware.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Lowndes Grove offers limited on-site parking. We recommend using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, which is a convenient way to get to and from the venue and ensures everyone gets home safely after the celebration!

Are kids welcome?

We adore your children, but to allow all guests (including parents!) to relax and enjoy themselves, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only event. Thank you so much for making arrangements — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We are! Your Presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all, but if you'd like to give something extra, you can view our registry page on our website.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

For Guests arriving early on Friday we will be doing a Happy Hour/ Get together! We will update shortly on name and location of the restaurant.
