What does all-inclusive mean?

Answer

An All-Inclusive Resort means the amount you paid to book your suite includes an unlimited amount of food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) your heart could desire during your stay. Food and Beverages - All Meals, Snacks and Beverages (including alcohol!) There are 9 International Dining Restaurants, 1 Buffet Restaurant, 1 Beach Snack Grill, 1 Food Truck, 1 Coffee/Dessert Bar, 12 Bars, and 24 hour Room Service! Question

When should I plan on arriving and how many nights should I stay?

Answer

The Excellence Riviera Cancun has a 3-night minimum in order to receive our promo code rates/discounts, but we invite you to stay longer, if possible. We want this to be a nice vacation for you in addition to the wedding festivities, so you are more than welcome to stay at the resort for as long as you like; just indicate how many nights you want to stay when you book! The duration of your stay is entirely up to you however we recommend arriving on February 18th so you have plenty of time to relax and settle in before the Wedding on February 20th! We plan to have a "Welcome" night on the 18th. The Welcome night is nothing formal so please don't feel that you need to attend and arrive Wednesday; this is simply to get everyone together and have an evening all out together before the wedding. Please note the promo code rates are ONLY good for February 17th-February 24th.

Will there be a shuttle from the airport to resort?

Answer

The resort provides complimentary transportation to and from the airport. Your resort confirmation email will have a link to book your shuttle transfer. Your flight number will be needed to book the transfer. More info to come.

Do I have to stay at the Excellence Rivera Cancun or can I stay somewhere else?

Answer

Per resort policy, only guests of the Excellence who have booked with our group promo code will be allowed to attend the ceremony and reception.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but the resort we’ve chosen is an adults-only all inclusive resort, so unfortunately, no one under 18 can attend. We understand this is a bummer for some, but we hope you’ll still join us for a fun, relaxed, and intimate celebration!

How many nights do I have to stay in order to get the group promo rate?

Answer

A minimum stay of 3 nights is required to receive the group rate and complimentary round-trip airport shuttle service in Cancun. However, the rate is available for up to 7 days, so feel free to extend your stay as desired!

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you’ll need a passport—unless you’re planning to try your luck sneaking across the border (which we don’t recommend!). Passports are about $130 and take 8-11 weeks, so plan ahead. What time is check in/check out?

Answer

Check in time is 3pm and check out is at noon. If you arrive to the resort early on check-in day and your room isn't ready yet, staff will hold onto your luggage for you and you can still enjoy the pools, bars, and restaurants. Be sure to pack your swimsuit and a change of clothes in your carry-on so you can head straight to the pool or beach upon arrival!

Are there dress codes for the restaurants at the resort? If so, what are they?

Answer

Yes, there are different levels of dress codes throughout the many restaurants. Please download “The Excellence Collection” phone app for all restaurant menus and dress code information. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by December 19th, you can submit your RSVP right here on our website! We also ask that you have your room booked with the resort by December 19th, 2025. Please note that December 19th is also the LAST DAY the Group Promo Code will be available.

Do we have to tip at an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Tipping is not required, but highly encouraged, and very appreciated by the resort staff! USD is accepted at the resort, so if you plan to tip there is no need to convert your cash.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Space is limited for our celebration so we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend the ceremony and reception.

What if I can’t attend?

Answer

We completely understand! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. Regardless of your decision, you will be met with total understanding and love from both of us. All that we ask is you please let us know individually or through RSVP.

PASSPORT - Check to make sure it’s not expired! Bug Spray/OFF Sunscreen Aloe/Sunburn Relief Reusable Straws (The resort has a no-disposable plastic policy, which means that they do not have straws.) Drink tumbler - the resort will use your reusable tumbler should you choose to bring one for all your drinks/beer Koozie Portable hand held fan!!!!!
