We’re getting married!

John is from Moreland Ohio, just a short drive from Courtney’s home area near Millersburg Ohio. Both grew up wanting to be veterinarians, which led them to meet in 2016 at college orientation. They attended ATI together where they were in the pre-veterinary program. John was too shy to say hello at first, and it was a year later that they started hanging out together - studying organic chemistry in the library. When they moved to Columbus to finish their degrees, they started dating. John and Courtney both graduated veterinary school this spring and plan to own a farm one day.

Some of their favorite things to do together include hunting, working around the farm, and getting ice cream in Fredericksburg. One of Courtney’s favorite memories is John teaching her to hunt - which eventually led to harvesting her first buck, an 11 pointer on her Grandpa’s property.

While the heavy rain killed John’s tractor proposal plans, they still had a “date day” and ate lunch together. The sunshine made an appearance that evening, so he suggested a walk in the woods. When Courtney stopped to take pictures he got out the ring, and the rest is history! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in October 2024!
