San José, Costa Rica SJO Airport - Please be careful to not select California
About 60 miles- should take about 60-90 mins to arrive!
Of course! We will be renting one from Enterprise. You can use your US drivers license, it’s on the same side of the street- same as at home :) they will have automatic and manuals available!
Peak of Dry Season: January is in the midst of Costa Rica's dry season, meaning you can expect plenty of sunshine and minimal rain, especially in the Pacific regions. Ideal Beach Weather: With temperatures hovering in the mid-80s Fahrenheit, it's a perfect time for beach activities, sunbathing, and water sports. Wildlife Viewing: January is a great month to spot humpback whales, especially along the Pacific coast. Additionally, birdwatching is at its prime, with many migratory species present.
We plan to arrive Thursday January 16th and stay in Costa Rica through January 25th.
