My entire life I was told, “When you meet your person it will feel different. You will just know.” Well as any single woman in their late 20’s will tell you, dating in 2020 was far from normal. Between the isolation from COVID-19 and the constant first dates off a dating app, it felt pretty difficult to, “Just know.” With Jason, it all made sense. I absolutely knew he was the one after the first date. It was an inner intuition or the Holy Spirit telling me, “He’s the one.” He will fight for you, he will love you, he will put you first, and he does every day. I am beyond blessed that God have me you, Jason Goodwin, and I can’t wait to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you. I love you! Now Jason will tell you he knew after our 3rd date that I was the one. He told me it was because he knew we could communicate with each other and work through anything that came our way. He also re-created our third date when he proposed to me on Saturday May 21st 2022. We had a winery date day in Dahlonega. We started at Wolf Mountain, then Cavender Creek. He proposed to me as we were walking through the vineyards of Cavender Creek by telling me to turn around because the donkeys were back! I turned back around, confused and disappointed because they weren’t back, and to my surprise he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. Flawlessly executed. Of course I said, “Yes!” and then he said, “Will you marry me?” a second time, not realizing he already asked me, and I said, “Yes” again!
