Jarrett and Courtney met through Facebook Dating. It’s pretty funny as Courtney was planning to stop dating for a bit but then got notified of Facebook Dating. Jarrett was the first person she connected with on that app and the last. Once he said he liked to read she immediately got his number. Funny enough, Courtney was also the first person Jarrett matched with on the app. Jarrett thought Courtney was smart, cute, and had a great sense of humor. They have been inseparable since.

Courtney wanted to take Jarrett to NYC while in the area for his birthday. She was not expecting to see Jarrett on one knee at the Rockefeller Christmas tree. It was a CRAZY day. Jarrett spent the whole day with a ring burning a hole in his pocket. They were going to see the Harry Potter Broadway show and then after make it to the Rockefeller tree but at the Broadway show they had metal detectors and he knew the ring would be found. He quickly gave the ring to Courtney's brother and had him hide it in the bag of goodies that we had bought earlier in the day. Somehow Courtney was still none the wiser of his plan.
