We actually met at a bar on Washington Avenue in St. Louis called ‘Hair of the Dog’. I was with one of my best friends, Morgan, and I really wanted to stay in, eat ice cream, and go to bed! Of course, Morgan had other plans and thank goodness she did! Jacob was at the bar with his hockey buddies that night! Long story short, we all ended up hanging out that night and exchanged Snapchat codes. I did not think much of it at the time, but a few weeks go by and we continue to talk every SINGLE day! Two months later I come back to St. Louis and we went out on our first date at Benton Park Cafe! :) Then I honestly still was not quite sure, I was not looking for a relationship at the time. But, it was just so easy to talk to him and fun! So then I come back to St. Louis and we go to a Blues game together and that was it!!! We had the best time ever and I knew there was something special going on. Here we are almost 5 years later come October. We have traveled to so many amazing places together, spoiled our sweet Lia together, adopted a cat together (okay that was all me but someone finally caved in to make me happy and Ollie was the perfect fit to our family), ate wayyyy to much mexican together and the list could go on and on. -On Saturday April 10th we were at my families farm house for my grandpas 80th birthday celebration. Little did I know this would be the day Jacob asked me to be his wife! :) it was perfect in every way. We can not wait to continue our adventure together and celebrate our big day with you!
