Courtney and Jacob first met in 2022 in Fort Myers, Florida, moving there after college to begin their careers at Gartner. As the office reopened after COVID, Jacob started going in regularly. With a little encouragement from a mutual friend (thank you, Natalie!), Courtney decided to visit the office for the very first time… and that’s where she met Jacob. Jacob made the first move by “pinging” Courtney on Microsoft Teams a few weeks later. What started as a simple message quickly turned into regular conversations throughout the workday, with Jacob sharing his favorite playlists and the two getting to know each other one message at a time. As their relationship grew, so did their adventures together. Moving from Fort Myers to St. Pete gave Courtney and Jacob a new place to call home alongside their pets, Sunny and Stitch. They’ve spent their time exploring the city, traveling, attending concerts, and building the foundation of a beautiful life together. From a Microsoft Teams message to building a life together, each chapter has allowed them to become more fully themselves, strengthening their partnership, and bringing them closer to the day they say, “I do.” They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
