Question

How do I get there?

Answer

The address for GPS is 1920 Curtis Pike, Richmond, KY 40475. 1. If you come from Richmond, you will turn onto Curtis Pike (from Barnes Mill Road) at the Corner Store Marathon gas station. 2. Proceed along Curtis Pike for 3.5 miles. 3. After you cross the second concrete bridge, you will enter a sharp curve. 4. As you exit the curve, you will see the first driveway (with a closed gate) and sign for the property right-hand side/ 5. The entrance is another 50’ down the road, directly past the black barn (there is a gravel driveway between the barn and the mailboxes). 6. Enter through the open gate, and then park on the grass to your left (in front of the antique wagon).

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

There will be a golf cart to help transport guests with mobility issues from the parking lot to the venue. There are 2-3 steps to get into the bathrooms.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Technically, it's a garden party. That just means semi-formal or dressy casual with a spring twist. Florals for spring? Groundbreaking, I know. Wear your favorite vibrant tea-length dress or slacks and a pastel button-up. Accessorize to your heart's content with floral ties, a fascinator, or a delightful sun hat. Wear what makes your soul happy! For practicality, it will likely be warm on the day of our ceremony, and there are also many grassy areas between footpaths, so please plan your outfit and footwear accordingly.

Question

Can I smoke?

Answer

The venue is strictly nonsmoking only. This includes cigarettes as well as vape pens.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, the wedding is child friendly! However because our venue is a historic farm with lots of antiques, old buildings, and livestock we ask that children not be left unsupervised at any time.
