We met sophomore year at Clemson University (Go Tigers)!!! We both crossed paths while participating in a philanthropy event. I was on the dance team for my sorority and Eric was pledging his fraternity at the time. We had to come up with a dance routine that involved pledges. The pledges were playing around and practicing and thought it would look cool to launch someone in the air for the routine. Eric volunteered and quickly came crashing down nearly breaking his neck! Talk about a first impression!!!

A few years passed since we first met, and it wasn’t until the fall semester of 2008 where our schedules aligned. We frequently started running into each other around campus, downtown Clemson, and at parties hosted by mutual friends. We became friends and started hanging out more in group settings and realized we had a lot of the same interests! We would make a point to get a group together on Thursday nights and watch the show “The Office”. After weeks of hanging out, Eric asked me on a date in October 2008. We had a fun night out at Tiger Town Tavern playing bar bingo and then singing Karaoke at TD’s! One month later we went out to a nice dinner and defined our relationship as boyfriend/girlfriend on 11.16.08.

November 16th, 2018-- It was our 10th dating anniversary. With the help of 10 dozen roses and a little song '"Marry Me" by Train, I painted "Will you Marry Me?" on her easel. When Courtney walked into the room, I popped the question. It was the most nervous I've been in my life so far. -Eric We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
