Bishop Castle

Castle built by hand. Super cool experience. Beautiful drive. We have found it best to go to the Royal Gorge Bridge in the morning, then a picnic on top of Skyline Dr, and then down to see Bishop's Castle.

Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center

Pikes Peak

Drive up or take the Cog Railway. The views do not disappoint either way.

Manitou Springs

Lots of fun shops, good food, and a penny arcade!

Cave of the Winds Mountain Park

Mount Princeton Hot Springs

We love to visit these hot springs. It is roughly a 2 hour drive from Colorado Springs. Go for a day or even spend a night at the resort!

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve

Go sledding down some sand dunes! Be sure to stop by the near by Zapata Falls. You won't be disappointed.

Meow Wolf Denver | Convergence Station

Seven Bridges Trail

Great family trail. The first section is open to the sun, but the majority of it is shaded and along the creek.

Another great family hike. The views are worth it.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

You can feed the giraffes!! Need I say more? If that doesn't sell it for you, there is also a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. The chairlifts offer a beautiful view and go over various animal enclosures.
