Elliot and Courtney met as neighbors when they both moved to Los Angeles from Florida within a week of each other. Floor 3 quickly became a place of elevator meet ups, Whole Food grocery run-ins and quick chats between the two as they found themselves conveniently running into one another. After a casual conversation in the courtyard with Buns, Courtney’s dog, acting as her wingman, Elliot made what he thought was a low-risk, very-casual move: following Buns on Instagram. Courtney took this as the unmistakable sign it was meant to be and slid into Elliot’s DMs. (Thank you, Buns.) The rest, as they say, is history. Their first date took them to Malibu, cruising the PCH at sunset, enjoying ice cream, and realizing the cost of their rent might not be so bad after all. Since then, they’ve shared countless adventures, laughs, and memories, always rising to life’s challenges together and proving that sometimes love really is just one elevator ride and one dog follow away.
