General recommendations:
1) Waikiki will provide the widest and most affordable selection of hotels. Locations like the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel and Hilton Hawaiian Village offer multiple different room options at varying prices. For our military friends and family, we strongly recommend the Hale Koa Military Resort!
2) Ko'olina offers a more all-inclusive selection of resorts. It is located in its own area away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki - but expect to pay a little more!
3) Airbnb and Vrbo may also be worth checking out if you plan on staying awhile. Please know these options require certain stay lengths and are generally quite expensive!
