The radical love of Jesus Christ has transformed both of our lives in the most incredible way. We both have had a personal encounter with Jesus that forever changed us, revealing our desperate need for His love + saving grace. Jesus is the only way we can be saved from our sin and brokenness. When we call on His name, confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, we are saved. 1 John 4:19 is at the heart of our prayers for our marriage & wedding day. You’ll see and hear this verse often as we lead up to and celebrate our wedding, because it truly means so much to us. The only way we’ve learned to genuinely love each other and the people around us is by fixing our eyes on what Jesus did for us on the cross. He displays His own love for us that while we were still sinners, He took our place. The greatest commandment is to love God and love people, and this is impossible to do on our own. But by looking to Jesus, He shows us what the true definition of love really is. We pray that God would reveal Himself & His love to you in a beautiful way, whether it’s for the first time, or to be encouraged in your walk with God.
