COVID UPDATE

Answer

Please continue to check into the website as we get closer to the wedding date for updates. At this time (March 2020), we have sadly cut our numbers in half again. At this time, we are having immediate family and bridal party at our wedding. We will have washrooms assigned to each family group to use on site and ask that if you are inside the main cottage, a mask be worn. We will do our best to provide a safe outdoor space for everyone. As the provincial situation changes we will keep everybody in the loop.

Will there be bugs?

Answer

Quite possibly! We are sitting right between the end of black fly season and the beginning of mosquito season. We will be fogging the property and will do everything we can to reduce the bugs and provide lots of spray.

What food am I responsible for?

Answer

- We will be supplying food and drinks from the wedding ceremony onwards on May 29th and brunch the next day. - Please arrange all other meals to be prepared at your own cottages and trailers. - We ask that you keep food and drink inside your living areas while here as there is wildlife that would happily dig in in your absence - The nearest grocery stores are in Gravenhurst, Washago or Orillia which are ~ 40 minutes away so plan to bring everything you need (including ice!)

Will I get cell service?

Answer

Yes! But it may not be optimal. We find Rogers has almost normal service but Bell can be more challenging. You should be able to text and call but browsing YouTube or Facebook can be more challenging if using Bell.
