We're having a Black-Tie Optional Dress Code at our wedding.

A black-tie optional dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie, but the guests can opt for either black-tie or a more general formal attire that does not rise to the level of black-tie. Men are encouraged to wear a suit/blazer and for women a longer gown or more formal cocktail dress or jumpsuit would be appropriate.
