Courtney and Chad met on the dating app Hinge. Her first photo was of her and her dog, Milly, on a bridge in downtown Greenville in a snowstorm. Courtney saw a photo of Chad in the same snowstorm and they bonded over their love of dogs. Courtney showed up late to the first date and as she pulled up to the brewery, she realized the brewery was closed. She saw Chad but left anyway. Chad saw a blonde speed away in a bright blue Fiat and figured that must be Courtney. He called her to ask if she was standing him up, and the first thing he heard was Courtney laughing. They met at a different brewery and then spent the next 6 hours talking. Over the next few months and Courtney also being late to future dates, Chad fell in love with Courtney's positive energy and her knack for having the whole room laughing. Courtney fell in love with Chad's patience (cannot emphasize enough how often she was late) and his passion for living life to its fullest. Chad proposed on that same bridge where he first saw a photo of Courtney. They are always down for an adventure, whether that's catching a last-minute sports game with friends, embarking on a strenuous hike, finding a spot for live music, or checking out the new restaurant in town. Courtney's mom knew Chad was the one for her because she had finally found someone who could keep up with her.
