How We Met!

Fall of 2016- St. Cloud State

It all started with the comment: "Don't be talking to the guys across the hall"- My Parents during move-in weekend my 2nd year at St. Cloud State. A couple of months went by and I thought nothing of it but then I got a Facebook request from someone who looked familiar but I wasn't sure where I have seen them before. It was Andrew, one of the guys from across the hall. I accepted his friend request and we started talking. At first, it was just small talk but than we started hanging out. Another couple of weeks went by and we would text back and forth but were busy with class. After we were talking for a while and hanging out, Andrew asked me on our "first date". We decided to go bowling and have dinner down in Monticello. We were waiting for a bowling alley to open up and that is when he asked me to be his girlfriend. Long story short, we lived on campus another year, moved into an apartment, lived at home, bought a townhouse, bought a dog (Chip), and are now engaged!

Engagement

September 2021- Camping Trip

Our Engagement! I thought it was going to be a relaxing weekend up north camping and bringing Chip with us for the first time. It started out that way. We planned on going to Grand Marais, MN to have breakfast earlier on Friday morning. We ended up getting coffee and donuts and sitting by the lake. We were getting up to leave, Andrew took my coffee (which I thought was odd), he looked at me, and got down on one knee to ask me to marry him! Of course I said yes!! To say the least, it will be the most memorable camping trip!
